January marked another month of progress for NERO Chain, as we continued to advance on two core priorities: community expansion and building a smoother developer experience. During the month, we strengthened our presence in Vietnam through community-led initiatives, while also shipping meaningful platform upgrades that make it easier and more reliable for builders to launch on NERO.

1) Strengthening the Vietnam Community

In January, our Vietnam community hosted a text-based Community AMA, offering an accessible space to recap our 2025 progress in the region and share what’s next for NERO in Vietnam. During the session, we highlighted the momentum built through multiple offline exhibitions and community meetups, including our Ho Chi Minh City campus tour and KOL dinner co-hosted with Bitget.

The AMA reinforced our belief that Vietnam is one of the most promising markets for Web3 adoption, backed by an active and fast-growing local community. Today, NERO has around 10 core Vietnam ambassadors, a regional Community Manager Andrew, and a strong base of core users and NFT holders. Looking ahead, we plan to bring even more ambassadors and key community members into the ecosystem as we continue expanding in the region.

2) Ambassador Highlights

To further accelerate community-driven growth, NERO Chain launched an Ambassador Referral Program this month. Through this initiative, the community successfully onboarded three new ambassadors into the NERO ecosystem.

This strengthens localized operations and expands our ability to grow awareness, education, and adoption across key regions.

3) NERO AA Platform Updates

Alongside community growth, January also delivered important upgrades to the NERO developer platform, focused on reducing friction and improving usability:

• Simpler onboarding & navigation with guided flows and clearer docs paths

• Team collaboration features including roles/permissions and improved team management

• More reliable API + Paymaster experience with clearer errors, better throughput, and improved balance visibility

• Better overall UX & performance through responsive UI updates, refreshed branding, and multi-region latency improvements
